Solah Somvar Vrat is a devotional fasting ritual observed on sixteen consecutive Mondays, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devotees observe this vrat with full faith to seek blessings for a happy married life, good health, and fulfillment of wishes.

On each Monday, devotees perform prayers, visit Shiva temples, and offer water, milk, and bilva leaves (Bel Patra) to the Shiva Lingam. The vrat is especially popular among those seeking marriage-related blessings or harmony in relationships.
