Pitra Dosh Shanti Pooja is a sacred ritual performed to pacify and seek blessings from one’s ancestors (Pitras). According to Vedic beliefs, Pitra Dosh occurs when ancestors are not at peace due to unfulfilled duties, improper last rites, or past karmic imbalances, which may lead to obstacles in life.

This pooja includes rituals like Tarpan, Shraddha, and offerings made with devotion, often dedicated to Lord Vishnu or Lord Shiva. It is usually performed during auspicious times such as Pitru Paksha or on Amavasya. The ritual helps bring peace to ancestors and harmony, prosperity, and well-being to the family.
